BIOGRAPHY

Vildan Atasever, born in 1981, studied production, direction, and acting at TÜRVAK Cinema and TV School. She began her acting career with the role of Handan in İki Genç Kızın Romanı, a film adapted from Perihan Mağden's book, directed by Kutluğ Ataman. For this role, she won the "Best Actress" award at the 42nd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. In cinema, she received the second Best Actress award for her performance in Zeki Demirkubuz's Kader at the 18th Ankara International Film Festival in 2006. Atasever was also honored with the Best Supporting Actress award at the 20th Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Awards for her role in Erden Kıral's film Gece. She gained widespread recognition with her leading role in the film Osmanlı Cumhuriyeti. Atasever's television career began with Kurtlar Vadisi, and she continued to star in successful series such as Kadın İsterse, Yaralı Yürek, Bıçak Sırtı, Yaz'ın Öyküsü, Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem, Payitaht Abdülhamid, and Kasaba Doktoru. Her most recent film, Dilsiz, earned her the "Best Actress" award from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and the World Press Association.
