Born in 1992 in the TRNC, Hazar Ergüçlu graduated from the Theater Department of the Haliç University Conservatory. At the age of 17, she was discovered in the theater by the successful director Derviş Zaim and took a step into her career with the film “Gölgeler ve Suretler”. She took part in many successful productions both in cinema and television. She won the Best Actress award at the Altın Portakal Awards for her performance in the film “Kar”, which she also co-produced. She participated in the Cannes Film Festival with Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film “Ahlat Ağacı”. She reached a wide audience with successful projects such as “Kuzey Güney”, “Medcezir”, “Yüksek Sosyete”, “Alev Alev” on television. She appeared in the lead role of Netflix's first original series “Hakan Muhafız” and in the lead role of the series “Saklı”, an adaptation of Blu Tv's world-famous Affair series. The actor, who also has an agency in the UK, starred in the series “The Mallorca Files”, which was broadcast on BBC One. The actress, who has received many awards for her projects in television and cinema, has also done advertising campaigns with important brands in her career. The actress had the leading role in the movie ''Gönül'' which is broadcasted on Netflix and won the recognition of the public. Ergüçlü was awarded the Yeni Tiyatro Dergisi Emek and Başarı Awards ‘Best Actress Award together with her co-star Funda Eryiğit for her performance in the ''Timsah Ateşi'' theater play, which was sold out last season.
