Born in 1992 in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Hazar Ergüçlü graduated from the Theatre Department of Haliç University Conservatory. At the age of 17, she was discovered by director Derviş Zaim in the theatre and began her career with the film "Gölgeler ve Suretler (Shadows and Faces)". She has appeared in many successful productions in both film and television. She won the "Best Actress" award at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for her performance in "Kar (Snow)," for which she also co-produced. She participated in Nuri Bilge Ceylan's "The Wild Pear Tree" at the Cannes Film Festival.
