Funda Eryiğit, born in 1984, studied International Relations at Istanbul University's Faculty of Political Sciences. She then graduated from the Istanbul University State Conservatory's Theatre Department. Known for her roles in television series such as 'Canım Ailem', 'Karadayı', and 'For My Son', she gained widespread popularity with the series 'Last Summer'. Having a successful career in both film and theatre, Eryiğit won the 'Best Actress' award at the 18th Sadri Alışık Theatre and Cinema Actor Awards for her performance in the play 'Sessizlik', and the 'Most Successful Actress of the Year' award at the 23rd Yapı Kredi Afife Awards for her performance in the play 'Fotoğraf 51'. After appearing in 'The Protector', Türkiye's first original digital series, she played leading roles in digital projects such as 'Ethos', 'Gorgeous', 'Chokehold', 'Ashes', and 'Lovers Anonymous'. Eryiğit, who received her first 'Golden Cocoon' award in 2019 for her role in the film 'Aden', won the Best Actress award once again at the 31st International Adana Golden Cocoon Film Festival for her portrayal of 'Nimet' in the film 'Dead Season', which she also co-produced. Eryiğit, has a son named Civan.
